And rounding out the week, @andrewbelle performs his album, Black Bear, Saturday, June 28 at @johnnybrendas . If you’re in the neighborhood early, pick up sandwiches at @libertykitchenphl before heading to the bar at Johnny Brenda’s.

@deerhoof plays @undrgroundarts Tuesday, June 17. Stop in an old favorite, @prohibition_taproom , for dinner (or happy hour 4-6) before the show.

@cultscultscults visits The Foundry (above @fillmorephilly) Thursday, June 19. Take the 15 minute walk up to @charpizzaphl for pizza first. Yes, there will be a wait (for pizza). Get the vodka sauce. Yes the salad is also excellent. But the pizza! I experienced CHAR for the first time last Friday and already can’t wait to go back.

And Friday, June 20, @horsetheband visits the @tlaphilly for their 20th Anniversary Tour of The Mechanical Hand. I heard the Chicago show was incredible, and I’m looking forward to the Philly show. Tickets are running LOW so grab one today if you’re planning to go. Depending on the vibe you’re looking for, head to @tmoms or @crybabypasta before the show for a bite and brew. #phillymusicscene #phillylivemusic

@crumbletones brings his quartet, Passerine, to @solarmythbar Friday, June 13. Get to the venue early to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar before the music starts.

Anyone else still recovering from another epic @westphillyporchfest? Fret not. We’ve got another excellent lineup this week to keep the vibes high.

@sleighbells plays @uniontransfer Tuesday, June 3. Stop by my favorite bar in that area, @poisonheartbar for a drink and bite beforehand. Oh, and they now offer happy hour for the first two hours they’re open every day. How can you say no to that?

@thisisblocparty takes the stage at @themetphilly on Wednesday, June 4. I had the joy of seeing this band perform their 15th anniversary tour of “Silent Alarm” back in 2019 at @franklinmusichall (you know, the Electric Factory) and didn’t stop moving the entire time. The energy is INCREDIBLE. Grab a nice dinner at @osteriaphilly before the show.

@mattpondpa returns to Philly on Saturday, June 7 at The Lounge at @worldcafelive I saw Matt tour through Philly when he was here over the winter, and his soulful sounds and connection to the audience are not to be missed. Go enjoy this intimate show at The Lounge, and stop in @walnutstcafe for their happy hour beforehand.
